The JLPT N5 is the starting level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. You'll need to be able to read hiragana, katakana, and about 100 Kanji characters. Not only will you gradually learn the various JLPT N5 grammar forms, but you will get comfortable with the kinds of questions you'll find on the real JLPT exam with our JLPT N5 course.
You should be able to read and understand passages on familiar daily topics written in basic vocabulary and kanji. You should be able to get around simple signs and descriptions.
You can understand short general conversations when spoken slowly. You may be able to understand very general topics and some classroom situations which are not complicated. You should be able to listen and comprehend conversations about topics regularly encountered in daily life and classroom situations, and is able to pick up necessary information from short conversations spoken slowly.
