Cancellation Policy:

We kindly ask our students to provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of lessons. In the event of a cancellation within the 24-hour window, the lesson will be considered as taken. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring smooth lesson scheduling.

Teacher Assignments (Assigned teachers)

Although we will do what we can to keep the original or preferred teachers, there are some important information to understand.
We employ teachers who also work in other schools and institutions on weekdays during the daytime and their shifts change every semester so we usually are required to rotate some of our teachers and their assigned time slots (or sometimes skip a semester etc. )accordingly. Due to the above reason your assigned teacher may rotate, but not to worry, we the Valiant team is following a curriculum that allows unhindered progress regardless of which teacher would be assigned as this is our protocol. We will do our best to maintain smooth course delivery and to provide the best lesson experience.

Changing Teachers

At any point, you may request to change your teacher in order for us to deliver the best environment to teach you Japanese. We understand from experience that some teacher/student personality fails to match and this is can be fixed by our great teaching team.

Lesson Package Validity and Transfer Policy:

We would like to inform our valued students about the validity period of our lesson packages and the flexibility of transferring remaining lesson hours to family members, colleagues, or friends. The following guidelines are applicable:

Package Validity: All lesson packages are valid for up to one year from the date of payment. However, the 120-hour package holds a validity period of two years, while the 4-hour and 1-month (group) packages are valid for 90 days from the date of payment.

Transfer of Remaining Hours: Within the specified validity period, students are welcome to transfer any remaining lesson hours to a family member, colleague, or friend. This transfer allows for the flexibility to share educational opportunities and accommodate varying schedules and commitments.

Refund Policy (We follow the “Mid-term cancellation, Article 49 of the Act” in Consumer Affairs Agency of Japan)

Cancellation Prior to Commencement of Services:

If the course termination occurs before the commencement of service provision, the consumer is liable to pay ¥15,000 or deducted from the refundable amount. This amount represents the ordinary expenses required for the contract and its performance, as specified by government ordinance for language school services.

Cancellation After Commencement of Services (Combined Amount of a and b):

• a. The equivalent amount of the consideration for the specific continuous service provided.

• b. The amount specified by government ordinance for damages typically incurred due to the cancellation of the specific continuous service contract. For language school services, this is ¥50,000 or 20% of the remaining contract amount, whichever is lower is then deducted from the refundable amount.
